It's something from the Sci-Fi Masterworks line, and my booze-addled brain is connecting it with Alfred Bester.

A quick bout of confirmationing research, and your av is the cover to The Stars my Destination.

Bester is on The List, because I've only read one short story by him, Fondly Farenheit, and it's bloody excellent.

The only anime series I ever followed. Even if you don't care for anime in general, you will probably like this show. Has kickass music too.

Used to only be shown at 6:30 in the morning during the week when I was a kid. I really should pick up the series on DVD.

cartoon network had streaming video of the second season on it's website a year ago. was pretty cool watching them in order. But damn....smoke and flames in space..... it's funny looking back.

Ive heard of StarBlazers. I was asking if the Avatar was from that show.
