During the French Revolution the famous scientist Laviosier (chemist) was told before they chopped his head off : The Revolution has no need for genius. Any one know any other qoutes of this sort?

I wonder why no one ever started a philosophy discussion thread recently.

I care to disagree that 90 percent is wrong. Its more like 99.9. Almost everything that a philosopher says is absolute erm i will use "garbage". Its only a few things that really make a difference. I mean take rosseaus general will idea. The only thing that was actually used was the idea of direct democray applications. And we don't even use those...hehe..poor guys...too much wine...
