Martial Artist vs. Heavyweight Boxer. Who wins?

Probably Jackie Chan wins. But not because of some coreographed stunt, but just because he would probably be a lot more agile and quick than La Hoya.

But then again a Heavyweight boxer can take a lot of punishment before he goes down... Can Jackie dish it out?

That's not necessarily true. Don't forget that boxers are limited in their training as to where they can punch and how and where they should defend. They also aren't trained to utilize their entire body the way martial arts fighters are. I think if both of them were allowed to do anything they damn well pleased, Chan would win. But if it were a boxing match, De La Hoya would win.

What's not true? That boxers take an extraordinary amount of beating before they go down? What?

De La Hoya would get Chanisized in a heartbeat. Chan may be getting up there in age, but he's still fast as hell.

de la hoya wins just because he´s cooler than chan who is pretty cool as well but cant take it up with de la hoya.

btw he´s not a heavy weight boxer, he´s a welter weight boxer.
