KC get stomped by the bungles..er, i mean Bengals. the Vikings lose their 4th in a row and New England's win streak improves to 6 games! Finally, it seems like the season is over for both New York teams (must be how the universe evens things out for that abbhoration that is the Yankees). Did i mention that the Pats won again? Or that the padawan (Belichick) has beaten the master (Parcells)? Did i mention that 4 of the 6 teams New England has left to play suck balls? (Jets, Texans, Jauguars, Bills)

Winona State (10-1, 7-1 conference) won their 8th in a row after an early loss to the Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears (7-3, 7-1 conference), to claim their half of the NSIC championship. As the team with the higher regional ranking, Winona State will go on to the NCAA Division II playoffs, while CSP will play the Missouri Western Griffons at the Mineral Water Bowl.
The Winona State Warriors (#2 Midwest) will host the Emporia State Hornets (#3 Midwest) in the first round at Maxwell Field on Saturday, November 22, 2003.

With the Cowgirls losing in New England and the East Rutherford Midgets folding up and dying in right here in the Linc, the Eagles are now tied for first in the NFC East and second for the overall lead in the NFC. The Eagles now control their own destiny. Next week, while the Birds host the hapless Saints, Carolina and Dallas play each other, assuing that, so long as the Eagles win, they'll either gain full control of first place in the east or be tied with Carolina for the overall lead. Then in week 14, they get a chance to earn a tiebreaker against the Panthers, and in week 15, they can even the season series against Dallas and possibly bury them in the standings. After a Monday night excursion to Miami, the Birds will face the struggling 49ers at home, followed by the regular season closer against the woeful Washington Indigenous Persons in Maryland.

Well, I guess it was going to happen sooner or later. KC 9and1.
Anyway, don't get too cocky. I wouldn't have thought that Cincinati would have been the team to stop the winning streak of the Chiefs so you really can't rule out any team. And even if you do fly through those teams, you'll still have to go through either Indianopolis or Tennesse and Kansas City in the play offs.

You seem to be implying that you're not happy with the Ole' Ball Coach's performance.
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Of course, it's not ALL his fault--Danny Boy built the team that Spurier is embarassing himself with. Could Dan Schneider be the NFC's answer to Mike Brown? Here's hoping!

look at it this way, we're one week closer to the Pats-Chiefs AFC Championship game (in Foxboro of course)... then perhaps there could be a friendly wager

Just mark my words, one day the 'Skins will be back and the asskicking
shall commence, and the Eagles shall be the first to fall...

All we need to do is just get Joe Gibbs and steal him back
from NASCAR

We don't even need that. In all honesty I would take back Norv and just get rid of the Ol' Ball Coach. Shit Turner is the only coach in the alst 12 years who has gotten the Skins anywhere in the postseason. I find it funny how quickly everyone dismissed him despite missing the NFC championship game (and possibly the Super Bowl but StL looked too good that year) only on the crappiest long snap in Skins history.
That said this team has all the talent now if Spurrier continues to change the way he does things (and maybe gets Cartwright to hold onto the ball) we might be able to salvage the season even if the playoffs are out of the picture.

A coach who knows what he's doing might help, too.

Chardok, this may be painful to hear, but Miami will not make the playoffs this year.
*jumps Chardok, locks him into straight jacket, drugs him up with high doeses of klonipin, xanax and prozac.....
there, there, no more delusions of grandeur.
