Today was a lot of fun

Today, I enlisted in the Marine Reserves. It was a great day of waking up at 3:30am, and sitting around for hours at a time. However, when they swear you in... Damn, it feels good. So I get shipped off in early June, just after I finish high school. Anyone else in the Marines/can offer any advice?

No offense but the idea of charging machine gun nests was never my idea of fun. I prefered teh idea of waving to them as they depart for the beach
