...blindsided me as I was walking through the 11th and 12th grade cafeteria. I listened to his pitch for ten minutes before he paused and asked what grade I was in. He seemed genuinely disappoined. :P

11th and 12 th grades have their own cafeteria? Why didn't I go to your school?

Have a very nice day.

Yep. 11th and 12 grades eat in the 'East Commons', which is connected by a long corridor to the 'West Commons', which the 9th and 10th graders eat in. Of course, since there's like 2000 people in the school, there are 3 lunch periods, so from 10:45 to 12:45 someone is always eating lunch.

In my old school, there were 4600 people, and we had 4 luch periods, meaning that we had ~1000 people in a small and dirty cafeteria during every lunch period (and they ran out of food by the middle of the last period. ). I won't go into the quality of food, either.

Have a very nice day.

Of course he would be, he just lost a potential bonus for getting you to sign up at his office.

Hmm. Our school cafeterias are always nice and clean, there's always space, never more than a few hundred kids in each cafeteria, the food is about average and there's an ample supply. The joys of suburbia.

My friend got really blatantly hit on by a army recruiter today. Whats messed up is that she's 16 and he nearing his 30s.

Ah, the joys of going to a nice suburban high school that allows students to leave campus whenever, on top of a large cafeteria with plenty of food of any given type (though it ain't that fantastic, the pizza is usually re-heated crap).

Too bad the school sux0rz on all other accounts
