Read the post. He is not talking about immigrants in the US; he is talking about companies taking their IT jobs overseas to cut costs.

Definately must be getting older. I did not find that latest installment by Maddox funny, witty, insightful, truthful, whatever at all. There's a lot that he didn't bother to account for in his statement. Economics, minimum wage/control of salary, standard of living, Federal/State regulations, immigration.. etc etc.

He doesn't account for Real Life in most of his rants~

I'd love to see Maddox explain how he expects the average American worker
to compete with overseas factories. True fact, American Companies in
Mexico are closing down their mexican plants and moving the production
facilities overseas to asian countries; because MEXICANS are too expensive.

Now, if it's too EXPENSIVE to do business with the MEXICANS of all people,
who have virtually no environmental laws, labor laws, etc etc, where does
that leave the average american worker? Right up shit creek without a paddle

And in need of a new form of knowledge to be hired. Hm, looks like this is very similar to the old antiindustrialization argument the luddites used -- its putting people out of work. Well, heres what we did when we dealt with heavy industrialization: we found other work, especially ones that involve providing services not labour.
