Found out about an hour ago that I have been accepted to Washington State University. This just plain kicks ass, the first major thing that's gone right in a while now. Just got to get thru 2 more quarters at the community college and I am on my way to getting my electrical engineering degree. It has been a very long and rough road getting to here, but I seem to have my goals in sight finally.
*is so happy he could dance*

Well done. Be sure to drink too much and spend the next 3 weeks recuperating. Tell'em an angel on your computer told you to do it.

Maybe we can get him to check on the professor TOWNMNBS was always asking for help.

Heh, actually, in the last electronics course I was in, I couldn't do the math from memory without a cheatsheet, but my circuits always worked as they were supposed to, and most of my machine coding also worked on the first try.
I really can't wait to get there, my best friend is in the computer science department there, this is his first semester there. Spent the last day with him since he's back on Thanksgiving break, I forgot just how much I missed him for the last 4 months. Among things that I am looking forward to over there is getting away from my parents (despite having a very stable and close relationship with them), testing my home-made airconditioning system, getting on with my life, and having some fun (not partying, it's not my style, nor can I afford to do so anyway). What's funny is that I already know who my roomate is, my best friend, big surprise.
And yes, I did dance in celebration.

I can't wait to get there and experience university life, nevermind getting out of the community colleges.

You know, both my parents went to WSU....in fact, my father grew up in the same town WSU is in.
Hyperion, be sure to ask around for Ferdinand's if you like ice cream, and get some Cougar Gold, it's good cheese.
