I would, I've always found the concept of sinking my teeth into human flesh fascinating.

Yea, sure, if it was legal, I always try a food before I turn my nose up at it, and ofcourse it would have to be free range, organic human :D

Thank you for your answers Gandalf, Dorsk 81.
Anarchistbunny I did not add that option because I doubt that anyone here has ever realy eaten (I'm not talking about oral sex) another human being and if anyone here has they would not make it know that they had done such a thing.

If cannibalism ever did become legal, the following would probably be true:

1 - The supply would be very limited. Thus, the price would be exorbitant.

2 - Killing people for their meat would not be legal. As a result, most of the meat will be from animals that died in suboptimal condition.

Due to these two factors, human meat would come at very high price and be of low quality. Only rich idiots and thrill seekers would buy it.

The big problem is, how is this meat obtained?

Other than that, I'd eat yo...err, it. :D

Raxmei, Frank you two have rised a very good point on wherte human flesh for eatting would come from.

Let's say that the *meat* would come from a condemmed crimnal who had commited a crime that carryed the death penalty and the offender was in good health, no sicknesses and what not.

Well, this being hypothetical, we don't have to get to into detail on where it comes from, but as long as it's not outright murder/predation, cool.
And confinement to a jail cell would keep execise down, making for a more tender cutlet.

Cannibalism fact:
Aztec prisoners were cannibalised after sacrifice, the captor's family would sit down and eat the choicest parts, weeping the whole time they dined knowing that the warrior in the family could easily meet the same fate. Such happy, fun loving folk, the Aztecs.

That's a good point Frank and your right about the way to keep a condemmed prisoner nicxe and tender and as for what you said about the Aztecs I never knew that, thanks for sharing that with me.

No. There are other moral and ethical problems with eating someone else, and no one should ever have to die that someone should have meat. The only time I would practice cannibalism is if my own life was in danger, and I had no other source of food remaining.

but how would they get human meat? The only option is from dead people--in which case that is very gross, even if it isnt disease-ridden.

If cannibalism were legal, it would eventually give rise to a cannibalism black market, where murder would be used to aquire meat sources, especially in areas and countries with lower standards of living where any sort of proper law enforcement exists.

The only proper way of obtaining specimens that would meet health standards would be to genetically grow human flesh, in which case farms of cloned human meat-sacks is extremly revolting.

So a resounding NO! Theres a reason that cannibalism is only used in survival situations...
