Most fun European City

Post by Bertie Wooster »

For those who travel,

which European city is the most fun in terms enjoying the culture and night life?

The general consensus with Americans I know is Prague, Amsterdam, and Dublin, but I've never been outside the UK, so I don't know first hand.

Brussles is pretty nice as i recall, some decent clubs and pubs, but THE party town in Europe has to be Dublin. Sure i'm Irish, i'm biased. But you will never have craic the way you find craic in Dublin. Belfast is also very up and comming, anyone who wants to visit i'll prove it.

For culture, the no-brainer is Rome. But for nightlife...what do you like?

Cities I know:

Amsterdam: was quite a surprise to me. The city is well worthy a visit, and not only for the night life attractions. Its surroundings, monuments and the city ingeneral are simply awsome.

London: Presumably, you've been there. For the others, VISIT IT NOW!

Paris: A must visit for the cultural aspect, personally I don't like to be so far away from either the sea or the mountains. meh. French girls are HOT.

Madrid: Brrr.. avoid it like plague.

Barcelona: Hot girls, nice beaches, nice mountains, awsome marginal.

Rome: Disgustingly hot in the Summer, go there during the spring or Autumn. Be ready to walk. I've crossed Rome on foot five or six times. The whole city is a monument, you can't afford to miss a thing. Besides, the public transportation sucks (and cabs are a no no).

Lisbon: Portuguese are nice to strangers, the living is relatively cheap, the night life is OK and we have Sun, Beach and BEER.

Humm, I think that's about it..
