license came in today's mail.

Now I can order C&R guns directly from the wholesalers instead of having to use a local dealer.



I've ordered my bound book from Brownell's and sent copies of the license (signed in blue ink) off to about a dozen wholesalers.

What should I order first?

A CZ-52?
A Manhurin PP?
A Yugo SKS?
A Moisin?
A SMLE?
A Sistema Colt?
A Ballester Molina?


So many guns and so little money.

If you don't already have more SKS's then you know what to do with your collection isn't very good. I suggest buying one of the .45's, its impossible to have too many of those, or a Moisin.

One of the arsenal refinished Ballesters for $250 along with an M44 Nagant for about $80 sounds good for a first purchase.

The Manhurin PP's are former German police pistols in .32 ACP. They even come with a shoulder holster and extra magazine. One of them will be my 2nd purchase.

Well, depends on their definition of "relics," but I would try to get a Colt Detective Special (released in 1927). A nice, inexpensive revolver, which can be used for self-defense in a pinch.
