Dodge plans "Lingerie Bowl"

Post by jegs2 »

From this story:
NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - DaimlerChrysler's Dodge unit is sponsoring a pay-per-view "Lingerie Bowl" during halftime of the Super Bowl on Feb. 1 featuring models dressed in lingerie playing a seven-on-seven tackle football game.

Dodge signed a one-year agreement with Horizon Productions Inc., the event's producer. The show will cost viewers $30. The teams will be coached by former NFL stars Lawrence Taylor and Eric Dickerson.

Dodge has received some criticism for other advertisements of questionable taste. Some dealers complained about a Durango spot that has two men standing at urinals in a bathroom, talking about size.

Sounds nice but a tad expensive.

$30 to see girls in lingerie on TV? That's too much. The Victoria Secret show was 'free' on TV a few weeks ago.... not that I'd watch it.... *cough*

girls playing tackle football in lingerie. flimsy sheer lingerie that is bound to rip off in the heat of the game. then it will be half naked women with breasts and whatnot hanging out playing tackle football. It's worth it if you're having a party and a bunch of people chip in a few dollars each.

But are they guaranteeing nudity?... it’s obviously not going to be full contact. IMHO, still seems rather costly for simple TV titillation, you'd still get more value (and probably more titillation) getting something else. I suppose if you have a 'football thing' its more appropriate...

meh. if i want girls wearing skimpy lingerie, and playing football i'm sure i could go down to the porn store and find something appropriate. with guaranteed nudity and girl on girl action no less. ;)

I love Dodge. Just so you all know, the Ram avatar is coming back after football season.

I'd watch it, i'm not so sure about the price tag however. Also depends on the models and what they won'r be wearing for long.

The only number that matters is the one with the "W" next to it, baby.
