I'm confused too. By everyone's reaction, not by the commercial. It's just a commercial for Panasonic. It is impossible to know what exactly Lucas is pitching since his voice is drowned out by the dubbing, but what's so strange about it?

Or did I miss something?

It's just a very odd commercial, that’s why I gave it a WTF. It's not a bad WTF, but a WTF nonetheless. It shouldn't be that surprising, it is from Japan, and 99% of the commercials I've seen from there, are very WTFish.

I guess I have a high tolerance. It just didn't seem that bizarre to me. Now that flash animation with Sean Connery chasing Hello Kitty while listening to a song about homosexuality or some such, that was bizarre.
