Serving Two Masters (or Can you like 2 football teams)

I often get mocked for liking two NFL teams:
The Cincinnati Bengals
and
The Philadelpia Eagles
Now, I see nothing wrong with having two favorite teams. I've been loyal to the Bengals since 1979, and I've been loyal to the Eagles since 1982. They're in different conferences, so I don't see anything wrong with it.
However, my friends sometimes mock me for it. Any thoughts?

I see nothing wrong with that. I got two favorite teams, the Colts, and the Buccaneers. But I do like the Colts better. So I guess the would mean that the Colts are my favorite team, and the Buccs aren't so... What the Hell is wrong with you!? Just pick one!

Meh, I got two faves. Miami and Tennessee, simply on the virtues of:
Miami= Hometown (1972, COLONEL! errm...sir.
)
and Tennessee= practically raised there.
Breaks my heart for them to play each other.

No. There is Georgia, and there is The Enemy.

I spare a little love for the Buffalo Bills every year. I've got some good friends from that town and I like it there.

You can like more then one team, but you've got to have them ordered.
I like the Bengals and Packers, but if they played I'd be decked out in black and orange. Just got to have the priorities straight.

I like Alabama, because I was born in Tusculoosa and my dad graduated from Bama, and I like North Alabama, because it's my alma mater. There is no conflict, since Bama is a Division 1A football team, and UNA is Division II -- they don't play each other (although I thnk UNA would whoop Bama this year)
Don't pay any attention to the NFL...

As long as they aren't in the same conference then I think it's fine...I don't know about different divisions but same conference, that's cutting it a bit close...
My favorite teams are the Broncos (Hometown favorite...even when they lost all those super bowls lol) and the Giants (LT baby!!)

No conflict at all. I cheer for both Georgia and Georgia Tech. When they have their rivalry game, I cheer for whoever has a better chance of winning their division. All else being equal, however, I side with Georgia.

The priorities are as Follows
1) New York Yankees, San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, University of Northern Iowa Panthers (all sports, 1AA football)
2) Anaheim Angels, All San Diego Teams, University of Southern California Trojans (all sports, 1A football),
3)University of Iowa Hawkeyes (for football only), with a small semblance of respect for chicago teams since Ive been to every Professional franchise in the Windy city, though no loyalty for any of those teams.
Teams that must be destroyed at all costs even during preseason games:
Boston Red Sox
Los Angeles Dodgers
Los Angeles Kings
Sacramento Kings
Iowa State Cyclones (all sports)
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings

If Philly and Cincy played each other in the SuperBowl, I'd have to go for Cincy

I have pity for the Bengals and for Bengals fans because i know what it is like to root for a 2-14 football team. I know (being a militant Red Sox fan) what it is like to look at any given season as a forgone conclusion. I like to see them win, but the Patriots must rule supreme. Oh, and i also root for any team that plays the New York Yankees. May their deal with the devil end soon.

Hey now, I'm pulling for Georgia since UT isn't deserving of the SEC championship. (If for no other reason than they deserve it, but hey)

Actually Juan Pierre would be two better words. Yankees did beat Beckett in Game 2.
Plus the Florida Marlins aren't the Blood Rivals that the Red Sox are.

I manage to get by not liking any football teams, so I don't see why one couldn't like two or more.
