I was wondering do any of you know any good books that explain a lot and give you lots of knowledge on Science and Physics and the like. That are easily readable. I am in High School and with classes that shove down my throat the same dull crap every year. I wanted to know if you could give me any suggestions on a book or anything that I can by that can further my knowledge on Science and Physics or even Logic and Phycology. Im a Junior and I have some of the shittiest classes you could ever have. I feel like an adult taking kindergarden over again, with this poor high school education of which all Im namely doing is dull unproductive homework or history reports that I can already get the info of the top of my head. I have a large amount of knowledge on American history but my very Hicked up country school has very little to no classes dealing with world history. I want to have books on Science, Physics, Phycology, World History but namely Science and Physics. Is there any good books out there, maybe a massive one volume book on the general topic there of. Or detailed books on physics or any science information you would think would be needed. Im not to interested in Chemistry and not exactly good at math, but am willing to learn. I feel so held back in high School and am so bored at doing reports and homework that I don't even do it, so my grades suffer, Im not exactly loaded with money so my chances of going to college are slim. I need something anything. Also any ideas on a book on Grammar, my schools english classes suck also.

Also if you have any good ideas of good NON-Star Wars, Militaristic Science Fiction or other Science Fiction that would be worth reading.

Any Help or suggestions would be thankful.

Forget Science Fiction. Obtain copies of Vortex and Red Phoenix. Read both.

The master of all teaching science books:

The Feynman Lectures on Physics

It will lead you through college, but most parts are too tough for high school.

Recommended reading in a library, though

Two books by Larry Bond. Vortex is about a war in South Africa, Red Phoenix is a North Korean invasion of the south. Both are among the best works of military fiction in existence. He has several other books as well, notably The Enemy Within which is also a very good book.

Larry Bond is also reasonable for the Harpoon series of games and helped Clancy write Red Storm Rising.

no, no, no you can still work in college!

in highschool get drunk and party as often as you can. that´s the time when you can party as much as you want to and dont have to worry about tomorrow, the next test or the final exams because everything is easy. in uni you can still do the same but with more limits.

MAHOK!
