I honestly really didn't know much about it at all, as I haven't watched the news regularly since August, and I refuse to read "The Daily Rag" that's a poor excuse for the UofI newspaper.

I just caught a couple of minutes of "The Simple Life," a show in which Paris Hilton and one of her sickeningly-rich friends decide that they have what it takes to live on a farm with a farm family in a small town.

I felt nauseous. Seriously, people as helpless and contemptibly stupid as they are should be dragged out and shot. These are the people who've never done a hard day's work in their entire lives and have anything they want at their beck and call. I didn't seriously think that people were that disgusting and ignorant. For once, I learned something from reality television. I learned that I'm just not cynical enough, and I probably just can't be.

Do a little research about the Hilton sisters and you'll find that chances are 99.99999999999% in favour of the leak NOT being an accident.

I don't think "The Simple Life" is challenging enough for these two spoiled bitches, though. Sure, they have to deal with "icky" stuff like plucking a chicken or some other common farm task. But they don't actually have to live on their own. They live with a family that's agreed to take care of them. Sure, they live under the rules of that house, but Paris Hilton is 22 years old! She should be living on her own, with zero support.

If you ask me, they should be plopped into a non-rent-controlled apartment in Brooklyn with their credit cards canceled, bank accounts closed, a shitty car (if they can even drive, a skill one does not pick up easily when she is chauffeured around in a limo from Day One), a thousand dollars in cash to get started with, and a landlord who doesn't give a flying fuck about who they are. And the best part? If they can't pay the rent, they're thrown out on the fucking street.
