Who here remembers this scandal from the Reagan Era? I know some of the basics, but I am looking for some more details.

Plus and more importantly I want your opinion on the subject.
Meaning did things turn out like they were supposed too and such?

No, it didn't work out as they hoped.. they got caught :-D

The whole proceedings and history are up on the internet if you want all the details. I once had the chance to have dinner with Donald Gregg, but the whole N. Korean thing blew up and he was called away.. <sigh>

Thanks and while I appreciate you going to the trouble to look that up for me, I am looking more for the boards opinion on this subject, and what they personally know about it. The reason I ask is because there are many people who do not realize what it was truely about or have certain misconceptions about certain facts.
Just FYI I recently turned in a research paper on this subject and in retrospect wanted to come here and see what some of you think about it.
