Yes. Go to www.google.com And, in the search field type "Miserable failure" in the search field and hit I'm Feeling Lucky.

That is all.

Probably blogger abuse. You'd be surprised how much of an impact those things have on Google.

In case you're wondering, I don't find this very funny.

Bloggers often link to things they don't like. If enough of them do it, or a popular enough blogger does it (say linking to GW Bush's bio with a description of "Miserable Failure") then Google picks up on it and modifies the relevance lists accordingly.

It's the same sort of thing that happened with the Google "French Military Victories" thing a while back. A blogger managed to abuse the system into making his Google fake stay at the top of Google's lists for a long time... I think it's still there, actually.

Yeah, do a normal search for "miserable failure" and just about everything you'll find for the first few pages relates to Dubya. Seems like a concentrated effort.

Not that I care, they'd better be prepared to make miserable failure jokes 'til 2009.

Besides, everyone knows Google is run by pigeons. What would pigeons have against Dubya?

Well, I just thought it would hold a bit of entertainment value, Indeed I was under the impression that someone at google had a sense of humor. However, since this seems to be a well known phenomenon....My force powers tell me this thread will be locked soon.

The same type of thing must happen when you put in "Weapons of Mass Deatruction"

Yep, it's blogger abuse. Google has been trying to remove blogs from their system since they've been skewing results like this, but it doesn't always work.
