That stands for StarDestroyer.net Screen names. I look around on boards sometimes and just wonder, "I wonder why they picked that name." Some I do, some I don't.

So anyway, I was wondering what stroke of creativity hit some people when creating your screenname.

Mine came from this fruity obsession with colors. SapphireGlimmer, IndigoFae, CrimsonRaine. Instead of just blue, purple or red. So I pick the name for the color and something neat behind it.

And besides, imagine actual crimson rain, it'd be creepy. And the extra 'e' is because it used to be a hotmail log in and some turd had crimsonrain. Besides, I decided it looks retarded without the e.

Spanky the Dolphin was a hidden pilot from a Nintendo64 jet fighter combat game called Aerofighters Assault around 1997. He was literally a dolphin that flew an experimental plane called the 2000X, I think.

Anyway, I never played it, but read about it in Nintendo Power. In early 1998, a friend of mine had the idea of starting an anime club for our high school, with an accompanying website that had reviews and information. I was one of the cofounders and did a few reviews for the site, and chose the screen name "Spanky The Dolphin" (capitalising "the" so it's part of the name), since I thought it was amusing and sounded great and unique.

I've only used that name for my online personna ever since.

I wanted to mix my first screen name, Syntaxman, with my love of scifi, especially Babylon 5. I first choose the name when I joined the firstones forum when I got into the B5TC mod for Homeworld. I've been developing the image of SyntaxVorlon ever since. When I joined the TGU boards I started making sigs for myself, and I eventually developed this little number below.

I picked KhyronTheBackstabber because he's one of my all time favorite bad guys.

XaLEv means night in a language I came up with. The capitalization is important; XaLeV means twilight, XAlev means invader, etc.

Its also a derivation of a Terry Pratchett characters name which is where the original came from.

GrandMasterTerwynn is just a name lifted from my own insanely complex science fiction universe. Contracted from Adept Grand Master Arkall Terwynn, First Lord of the House Rivalli of Neopolis.

The character is a bad guy, incidentally. And Neopolis is a big city planet with a population of 700 billion. The only city-planet in the Milky Way.

My designation in my old online XWA group. Defunct now. It originally had nothing to do with Corran Horn, but people assume that so much that I've finally given up and started carrying a lightsaber.

This is simply the screen name I use everywhere. I think the first place was Yahoo. I wanted observer_2000 there, but it was taken, so I settled with observer_20000.

People always get confused and think it's observer_2000,

Name for a character in a story that I am writing (re: The False Queen, also in the FF forum). Come to find out two years later, it's also the name of a fabric. o.O

Sn0m4n: L33tified from 'Snoman', originally Evil Snoman. If you ever come across an absolutely HILARIOUS "America's Funniest Home Videos" clip of a snowman getting its head shot off by a cannon, listen to what the host narrates. At one point he says something to the effect of "I AM EVIL SNOWMAN! I WILL DESTROY THE WORLD!" or something like that right before the cannon fires. I prefer the second part be "I GO CRAZY WITHOUT SNOW!" because i like the cold and hate the heat.

There, that's my amazingly complicated reason for having the SN I have.

My name comes from a weekend of ouija-boarding in Memphis when I was 16. It's technically actually a title, not a name, but it gets the job done.

High school nickname...well actually the alter ego of said character(I have more pictures of that name then my real one)

And heck I wanted a change...since I've used Dan Ketch more then a few hundred times elsewhere.
