Blue Angels

A thoughtful vicar in the German town of Lampoldshausen ordered 300 copies of a film portraying the life of Christ as told by the gospel according to Luke. A nice seasonal gift for the parishoners, he reasoned. Alas, there was a mistake at the video copying plant in Munich, which resulted in some of the flock receiving a very different kind of film. "It was a real porn film," the bemused vicar said. "We immediately got a reaction from five to seven people saying we must have sent them the wrong film." Undaunted, the good vicar will press ahead with the life-of-Christ video campaign. With a renewed sense of anticipation, who wouldn't?

That was my first impression as well, but the title still fits, though it is somewhat obscure. Less obscure titles would include:

Not all the films were the wrong ones. It was a mixup and only a few were of the wrong taping.

Since I can bike to the Naval Academy if I wanted too, the planes came to my mind first. And I've never heard the other reference before either.

From what i read in the german news almost all videos were the wrong ones. Just a few customers wanted to watch them immediatly however, most let them lie around. It was just a few hours until they noted the mistake afterall.
BTW, the vikar is apparantly quite pleased with what happened. He pointed out that the 200 people who ordered the pornos most likely got the christian video instead.
