The Doors vs Three Doors Down
Who do you go with? The classic band, or the new(er) guys?
I'd stick with The Doors, myself.

"The Wire" is the best show in the history of television. Watch it today.

Oh please, this is like pitting the Culture against Earthforce. The Doors win hands down.HemlockGrey wrote:Who do you go with? The classic band, or the new(er) guys?

I actually feel the Doors are overrated, but they're still better than Three Doors Down. Three Doors Down does make a few songs I like, but most of their stuff is generic contempo-rock that nobody will remember in 5 years.

X-Ray Blues
Jim Morrison was a drunken ass masquerading as a poet, to borrow from Lester Bangs. But he's still better than the Three Doors Down.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I want to say The Doors but there's that new version with Ian ASSbury of The Cult as their lead singer and it's taking points away from the original group.
Still I'd think I'd go with The Doors although I don't mind Three Doors Down. At least I can identify them correclty when they are played on the radio. Most of the rest of the newer groups sound so similar that I just can't make the name to song connection with out extrem repetition.

That does not exist. I suggest you treat it as such.Tsyroc wrote:I want to say The Doors but there's that new version with Ian ASSbury of The Cult as their lead singer and it's taking points away from the original group.
