Who do you go with? The classic band, or the new(er) guys?

I'd stick with The Doors, myself.

I'm just a singer in a rock and role band alone beats every Three Doors Song in Existance (though kyrptonite is ok) so it's doors for me.

Oh please, this is like pitting the Culture against Earthforce. The Doors win hands down.

I actually feel the Doors are overrated, but they're still better than Three Doors Down. Three Doors Down does make a few songs I like, but most of their stuff is generic contempo-rock that nobody will remember in 5 years.

Jim Morrison was a drunken ass masquerading as a poet, to borrow from Lester Bangs. But he's still better than the Three Doors Down.

I want to say The Doors but there's that new version with Ian ASSbury of The Cult as their lead singer and it's taking points away from the original group.

Still I'd think I'd go with The Doors although I don't mind Three Doors Down. At least I can identify them correclty when they are played on the radio. Most of the rest of the newer groups sound so similar that I just can't make the name to song connection with out extrem repetition.
