Thought I was getting a computer one year.

turned out to be my Dad's Xmas present. I got a rotten old telly.

We don't do that anymore because we know what we're getting (on account of having ordered it)

I used to love searching for presents...but im 30 now...so rummaging in my parents wardrobe doesn't have the same appeal...I remember finding the Millenium Falcon one christmas...god its lost all its appeal these days...

I used to get up 4am christmas morn...

Now I am staying out till 4am and you will be lucky if I'm up before noon

My little brother and I went rumaging one year. We found the unwrapped presents: 12in figures of Leia and BobaFett. We, having just seen ESB, were in heaven.

However, Mom found out what we'd been up to, and when the gifts were unwrapped Xmas Day, they'd been switched. Instead of the lovely white-dressed Leia with her donut hair, there was green and scary Fett! Leia was in the hands of my confused looking brother. And Mom simply looked at us and said 'thats what you get for snooping in my closet'.

My brother and I switched toys, and we never snooped again.

Wish I had that Leia doll now... she's worth bundles!
