Pretty much what the thread says,What is your favorite sandwich and why?

personally I prefer a parmesian(SP?) cheese oregano whole wheat bread,lettuace,tomatoe and pickles.

balonga(sp?),salami,pepperoni,mustard and BBQ sauce.

A properly prepared BLT. Unless REAL Philly cheesesteaks count, then they win.

So far this is my grandest work of sandwiching:

toast. - 12 Grain
Hard boiled eggs
extra sharp cheddar cheese
bacon
toast
burger
extra sharp cheddar cheese
can of tuna fish
toast

bunny, you must have a cast-iron stomach...

As for me, my favorite sandwich would probably be just a plain old ham and cheese with mayo on potato bread.

Grilled Cheese or Tuna.. my.. what would happen if they were TOGETHER?! *gasp*

Not bad...not enough meat though.

For me...just 5 random beef products, Provolone and Mayo/Mustard....and a slice of lettuce to top it off.

Roast beef and Turkey with American cheese on a hero with Lettuce, Tomatoes and a dash of Mayo.

Yeah, it takes a lot to make my stomach ache, and when I do I'm throwing up all day cause it doesn't get me til it's deep.

And chicken, just having a piece of chicken(cooked, dunno about uncooked) near me while I sleep will cause me to blow chunks on my floor before 3:00 AM.

The "Italian Stallion" at the local Deli near my fiancee's house! Italian sausage, cheese, marinara sauce, olives, mushrooms, on a long bun.

And then I wonder why my diet isn't working...

Yeah but you got to love the total absense of veggies.

Cheesesteak without green peppers. My next choice would probably be roast beef with provolone cheese and hot sauce.

Tuna mayonaise and cheese...dont knock it till you've tried it

Roast Beef, Salt, Letuce, Tomato, Pickles on a roll. I don't really have a favorite sandwich, but that's pretty damn close

Favorite Cold Sandwich: Dry Salami, Chedder Cheese, on a roll. No Mayo, everything else.


Favorite Hot Sandwich: French Dip w/ Swiss Cheese.

A good Reuben.

Roast Beef, lettuce, tomato, spicy mustard, mayo, jalapenos, banana peppers on rye. Sometimes I feel like adding oil and vinegar, sometimes I don't.

It's a tie -- either a hot, spicy breaded chicken sandwich with extra cheese, or the classic, mile-high smoked ham'n'cheese with everything.

Ooh, ooh! Now I'm getting into this!

Scottish Mustard
Crisp lettuce
Fresh tomato
Green peppers
Chopped roast beef
2 cheeses, finely sliced (Swiss and colby jack)
2nd layer roast beef
2nd layer cheeses, melted
Thin onion
Sweet relish

Ooooooooooh...

I don't really have a favorite sandwich, but right now, a turkey melt is beginning to sound like a good idea...

A cheesesteak. A REAL cheesesteak, from a little shop run by South Philly Italians.

Second place is a meatball hoagie with provolone and romano.

One small floury white bap.
Half a Cumberland Ring Sausage.
Tomato sauce.

One Steak, with a Mustard and Thyme Sauce
Drizzle of Olive Oil
Light Garnish

1. Tuna Melt

Tuna, mixed with Light Miracle Whip and relish, with American cheese melted on top to perfection, on a plain bagel, toasted lightly.

2. Weird Thing I picked up in Ostraya

Aussie mayo (which sorta tastes like Miracle Whip), sliced up hard boiled eggs, cucumber slices, on potatoE bread.


Mmmmm. Nummy.

I like a nice Club grinder, or a salmon bagel. Strips of smoked salmon on a bagel smothered with cream cheese and lettuce and sliced hard boiled eggs. YUM!

Ham or bolognea on any kind of bread or roll, with a liberal amount of hot sauce.
