I just re-read the first half of an assignment I was working thats due in 5 hours and realised that it was a bag of shite.

As such I am calling it a day and leaving it till later in the firm knowledge that even a 10% late penalty will leave me with a better mark than if I submitted what I have written so far.

And so I will be cruising SD.net for the rest of the day.

10%, damn... almost worth taking 2 days... (that is if it is only 10% per day)

Shame on you, Weemadando. :D (so, I had to do the mom thing. It's expected of me, isn't it?)

You should hear what my mum would say.

You know I was going to do Maritime Engineering/Naval Architecture in Launceston at the Australian Maritime College until I realised it would mean that I would have had to have lived at home. A bachelor of the arts in Hobart was looking DAMN good at that point. And it still is.

I've been known to give less than stellar efforts on assignments based on my cost/benefit analysis. When an assignment requires as much work as a term paper and is under 5% of my final mark, I'm not going to spend time and effort that could be more productively used studying for tests or working on more important assignments. These "nonsense assignments" as I call them get the quick 1 night job, meaning I basically write out of my ass and run a spell check on it. Strangely I've never failed doing this. Sometimes I doubt they even mark the damn things.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

I hear that, aerius. I half-assed my way through Eng. Junior year. The only paper I did serious work on was the Big Tamale 4th quarter. Passed with a 95.2%. Yee ha.

Well, this assignment is 40% of my mark. So I want a good mark.

I'm on vacation, and when I get back, I'll have a writing assignment to complete, a speech to prepare, and 3 days of missed homework to make up!
