So Fucking Funny...

My favorite part, was when they did the TOS Christmas Carol....

Scotty: "my god captain, he's showing me a future where' I'm fat!"

Kirk: "Fire torpedoes!"

And Hans Moleman stranded in the snow with the two wolves approaching

"God free since '63."

It was an all right episode, but it had its moments.

"Ohh, Carl, you remembered I like TV!" - Homer, upon being given a DVD set.

"We'll pick out the largest tree that when it's removed it will cause mudslides" (on christmas trees by homer)

Isn't that so Sea Skimmerish it's scarY?

It had some pretty funny moments.

"It's that rookie from the New York 9, Joe Dimaggio. They're letting ethnics in now."- Mr. Burns

Hobo: "These pants are even smellier than my old ones!"
Homer: "You're welcome."

"It's like an animated version of my life!"- Homer watching Mr. McGrew's Christmas Carol

It's not a great episode, but one of the better epsiodes in this season.

Finally a Simpsons episode worth watching!

Nothing as good as the old days but thats an unrealistic expectation anyway. Great satire and jokes and for once characters actually seemed consistant and funny. I wish all the newer ones could be as good as this.

The sad part is that had this one been released 6 or 7 years ago it would been met with a "meh" reaction--we've been so accustomed to crap that an average-level episode seems really good.

Scotty's line was great: "He's showing me visions of my future--god im so fat!"

Hans Moleman has to be one of my all-time favorites in the Simpsons.

It was one of the best Simpsons in years, certainly better than the last few Christmas episodes.

Favorite line: Homer: "A million years ago, a guy was born that a lot of us think was magic. Some people don't, and that's cool, but we're probably right. Amen."

I believe it's airing again on Monday, December 22nd.

I loved the part where Homer was day dreaming about the Buddhist.

Not that it'll do you any good now Kamakazie but FOX just reran it tonight at 8 for some reason.
