Its actually relatively easy. Major CEO's personal info is public info. Some guy used some info from M$'s financial statemtns filed with the SEC (Availiable on the web) to steal a few million.

Used the info to apply for credit applications, and depodited it into offshore bank accounts. He was a janitor amazingly enough.

He was just unlucky, the 1 of the transfers shopwed up in a random smapling in an audit. They just took it from there.
