Is it me, or is the film becoming more and more popular? I mean, it was never released widely at theaters, and was apparently difficult to get, but now I see it being sold in Borders and Hollywood Video. With the sequel in the works, do you think its going more mainstream?

It's a cult classic, and I've introduced at least 3 of my friends to it. Its success may spur trailer time in theatres, however you have to remember that it's
still a cult classic. Out of the couple hundred people in a theatre, there are going to be 3 or 4 that get all excited when they see the trailer for All Saints' Day. The others might be intrigued, but it won't really stick with them. You need to see the first one to really "get it."
That said, I kind of like it being a cult thing. When you meet someone who understands what you mean when you say, "You and you're fuckin' rope," it's instant friendship. Just add water.

Indeed it is. The captain of my crew team brought a copy to spring training. That insured 54 more copies would be purchased the moment we got back.
I really don't know why they didn't release it in theatres. Billy Connolly is far better suited to the Pa McManus role than that shit he got handed in Timeline.
Near everyone in school has seen it. This movie is set up to be the next Army of Darkness.

If only Evil Dead would get a sequel... of all the cult classics deserving one...

Boondock Saint's is one of the best movies ever. I was going to try and do it for my English compare/contrast movie project, but I was too lazy to find a way to make it work.

If you're talking about Army of Darkness, there are plans to make a sequel.

No, there is talk of being willing to make a sequel.

Phaw, that means it's practically already made! It'll be in the can by the time Summer's over, and out next Christmas!
But really, things are constantly looking up for Evil Dead 4; before Spider Man it would have been laughed off as a pipe dream, but now that Rami's a Force in Hollywood, all that needs to happen is getting him and Bruce in the same place at the same time. Oh, and a script. Mere technicalities...

Talking about making a sequel is part of planning to make a sequel dammit.
Oh, and on the set of Spider-man 2, Campbell and Raimi will be together.
Hmm, they could have filmed it concurrently.

I got tired of hearing the crazy cook from New Orleans raving about how "I had to see this movie" and bought it. It hasn't returned to me since I loaned it out, and others are buying it now too.
"Because I thought it would bring CLOSURE to our relationship you druggie bitch!"
Oh and the crazy cook, was cool, he looked exactly like "Kane" from command and conquer, and was another one of those "Cthutlu" fanatics...
