UPS Question

While tracking a rather important (!) parcel sent via UPS Express, this has come up when tracking it:
INCOMPLETE ADDRESS, NOT DELIVERED
It was sent to the correct address, as my reciept has it listed correctly, and it had managed to get quite far before this came up.
What will happen?

I'm near certain they return it too the sender. But you might consider emailing them or calling the company.

Probably just an error,or noone answered the door.

It's in San Juan, nowhere near me.
I want to see if anyone know's what they'll do before I e-mail the company.

Well I might be outta date(Haven't worked for UPS for a few years now...so excuse my mistakes if I make any.)
Was the address sent to a P.O. Box.? (If so UPS does not deliver to PO boxes.)
Are you sure the address was correct?(Double check.)
Phone them,don't email.

I think it's something like that.
I seem to recall something like that happening with one of my packages before because it's apparently hard to figure out which place is mine since my house number is visible from the street.
If you know they have it in town you could always check and see about going to UPS and picking it up directly. I think that's what I've had to do with a few packages. Just make sure you take a picture I.D.
If it's something that you sent you might want to give the recipient a call so they can do something about the problem if necessary.

It's likely an error, since UPS tends to leave the package at the door if there's no response. Or, if they're only supposed to deliver when somebody is in, that won't be the error message you get.

Address was correct, and not a PO Box.
It can't have been no one at home, as its not even reached the country yet.

It'll sit in a warehouse for a while until someone notices the system flags and does something about it. As I remember it, they'll return the package to you and may bill you a penalty for it.

Won't be returned to me, as its meant to be coming to me.
They seem to have fixed that, as they said it was just inputed wrongly. Went back to normal for a bit, and has now vanished from the tracking system.

Ah! The package is going to you, well, in that case it will sit in a warehouse somewhere until someone notices it. Seeing how it's dropped off the system as they say it could be a while until it shows up. Eventually someone will notice the package and do something to find out what's going on, and then it's even odds whether they return it to the sender or try to deliver it to you. From my experience working at Canada Customs, packages have been known to disappear for many months, we've had Christmas presents sitting on our warehouse floor...in August. We don't like UPS, to us it means "United Parcel Smashers".

$40 is expensive for someone like me that doesn't have a job...
Besides, I kinda have my money tied up in other things right about now.

Bah, I have to pay about another $23 shipping.
I was hoping Piro would have had some stuff to sell when I met him last month, instead there was a lack on MT merchindise, only Piro and Seraphim.
I only managed to get this:
and a photo of me with Piro.
