The first one is so durn catchy, the second one has this wonderful tinge of melancholy, and the third one is just kick-ass amazing.StarshipTitanic wrote:The Dutch song from the second one isn't bad.
It's by Neil Ciceraregaga, the inventor of Fanimutation. Unfortunately the link seems dead so watch Jamezbond instead.Badme wrote:Not loading.Bob McDob wrote:Meh, Wizard Power's better, and far more seizure-inducing.
Animutation is and has always been my favorite form of art (and by "always, I mean since 2001 years).Although there are many fine fanimuteers out there, Neil Ciceruga (or however the hell you spell his name) is the purest, zaniest, and in my mind best of all of them. He knows his stuff, he's been making them since he created the genre with his groundbreaking Hyako... Hyai ... Hyaohfuckit) and has since tormented the human race with such monstrocities as Earth vs. Funk, The Japanese Pokerap, and the aptly titled Untitled. With this great lineage, you'd expect Wizard Power to the best ever created, and connoiseurs (if such a breed exists) will not be disappointed.
The animation is undoubtably the best of any fanimutation ever - it's sharp, colorful, and most importantly CLEAN. A lot of amateur fanimuteers have an annoying tendacy to reveal the jaggies, but Cierirega is no amateur, and it shows. The music fits the visuals perfectly, the energy and pacing is infectious, and the timing is PERFECT. It's also refreshingly free of the tendancy to distort the lyrics into incomprehensible english.
Overall, the only real weakness here (if it is a weakness)is that, more than most animutation, Wizard Power is not for epileptics. Most animutation by its very nature features a lot of flashing lights, but Wizard Power is almost entirely flashing lights, as if it's deliberately trying to provoke a seizure. I can not state this more firmly: STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO SEIZURES. You can get the same effect by taking massive doses of LSD. (Don't do that either, by the way)
Overall, Wizard Power is the greatest Fanimutation ever created, and I've yet to see anything that surpasses it in sheer production values and charisma. See it if you can, if only so you know what to hate about it. As for me, I'm going to fire it up one more time.
