Here is a guiness world record challenge you may have a good chance of beating. It involves solving a rubics cube with your eyes closed.

First take a scrambled rubics cube and have a good look at it. Then block your vision with something and start solving the rubics cube. If you can do it under 5 minutes and 52 seconds you have made a new world record.

Well i`m out of this challenge.

Anyway where are the real records in the Guiness book or even their stupid tv show,most of the "records" are done by freaks who want to have their names in for the most idiotic and gross performances

The only way I can solve a rubic cube is to have it finished, then memorize the moves while I mess it up a bit (not more than 4 or 5 moves ) and then do the exact opposite...

Try solving it in less than that time *not* blind, lol.

I found a record I could break. It's for the longest trading card game playing marathon. I equalled that back in my day, I shall reassemble my associates and try to beat that.

The world record for doing it with your eyes open is less than 20 seconds or something. You'd have to do it very quickly and not mess up to break the record. It would probably be less futile to memorize the way you move the cube and do it blindfolded.

Gah. I've never managed to unscramble a rubics cube ever. I got one as a present like 10 years ago and today I'm using that thing as a paperweight.

But still. I would think that most of us here are fairly normal and couldn't do that. Not that someone here can't.. but most couldn't I am sure. Myself included.
