Who do you think is going to the super bowl?

My Pick:

AFC: Titans

Why? Because Kansas City couldn't stop me from going to my refrigerator, and I'm very skeptical of New England being able to continuously win close games, just look at the Jets Game where after forcing Chad to throw five interceptions, they only won by 5 points, and the game was still up in the air until 50 seconds before the end. HEnce I go to what is arguably the best team in the AFC, the Titans.

NFC: Eagles

Why? Because I don't pay much attention to the NFC, and everyone is speaking about the Eagles like they are the best team ever, I do have some doubts after hearing Donovan McNab's chunky soup radio commercial, so I place the Rams a tight second, with the Seahawks and Cowboys tied for third, way way back though.

AFC: Colts. Sorry but Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison are an unreal combo, and now they have a defense to go with that offense. Well that's as long as the Ravens win sunday and the Bengals don't make it, if they do lose then it's going to be Bengals (stalwart fan).

NFC: Rams. I hate going with them, but I think they look real tough right now.

EDIT: My dumbass hit submit before I put the NFC in.

You guys must be nuts. New England is going to the 'Bowl for the AFC, how on EARTH could you think of anyone else? they are a positively unstoppable powerhouse judging by their performances of late.

For the NFC...well, who cares? I guess the Eagles...yeah....Go Eagles...

Then again....

MIAMI=Teh WiN!!1!1one!!

Well lets see, 7 of their games have been won with a margin of 6 points or less(the last team to do that was the 1998 arizona cardinals, who lost in Div Play-offs, and went 6-10 the next year), their running game is non-existant, and their performances have not been all that tremendous, like with the Jet game, to go back to it, where they won by 5 points, when they had caught FIVE interceptions. Their Offensive scoring power was non existant, they only had one good drive, and this is against the JETS for hell's sake, the JETS. That is why they are not going to go to the bowl.

Yo' fish has been squished bud.

By none other than that juggernaught of explosive might:

THE PHILEDELPHIA EEEEEEEAGLES!

Who's going to the Super Bowl in 2004? That's right, Donovan McNabb and his Eagles, that's who. I've got $20 riding on it!

Da Bucs!

But only because they crash through the gates and take out security. 8)

Seriously, since I have no interest in stats whatsoever (fucking nerds... ), I'll go for AFC: Patriots (where my family's from, and I like the name :) ) and NFC: Um, since everyone else keeps saying it, the Eagles.

Hm, Patriots vs Eagles... An All American Showdown! :D

Will they then pillage and/or plunder?

'Cause mesa thinks they should have done that after the Super Bowl.

I'd so love to say, "Eagles!", but that defense is a wreck and losing Carlos Emmons makes it worse. Plus, it's starting to look like Troy Vincent is going to be slow coming back. We can't stop the run as it is and if Vincent goes out, we're not going to have to keep both safeties back in coverage. Lito Sheppard is a good young player, but he's not good enough to leave in single coverage yet.

I'll say Eagles because I'm a fanatic, but if I was from somewhere else and was capable of being objective, I'd say the Rams in their pussy dome.

As for the AFC, I really like what the Colts have done this year, but nobody wins at Foxboro in January. Patriots.

Well, yes and no, I have seen an entire city get mad enough to lynch a team, and lynch a coach. But then they only lynched the coach (twice) and then, just sorta got bored and left...

Well, they would have, and John Gruden would have got his Jock Strap then, only the last super bowl was held in Tampa, and pillaging your own town isn't that great for the morale.

They have a few pirate ships in Tampa Bay. High on victory, the Bucs could have sailed to Cuba and picked the puny nation clean.

COWBOYS!!!

Seriously, the Chiefs will if they play like they did at the beginning of the season, but it will probably fall to the Patriots.

As for the NFC, I don't think that the Eagles can pull it off. Maybe the Rams, but I'm hoping for my 'Boys.

Colts are sputtering right now against Houston. Tennesee is hit and miss. Wild cards like Denver may knock others out of the fight in the first round of the playoffs but I doubt that they'll go all the way.

So the AFC come down to the Patriots and the Chiefs. The Chiefs (god help me) have been slowly desinigrating as of late. Their Defense (what there is of it) is tired as hell. I hope that the first round by gives them time to recover and regroup.

But if the Chiefs at top strength plays the Pats at full strength, my beloved Chiefs will not be going to the SuperBowl.

On the NFC side, the Eagles are exhausted as well. I don't know if they got the juice to keep it up especially with Dallas breathing down their neck. STL is the powerhouse in the conference but don't count Carolina out either.

If pushed to make a prediction though, Pats and Rams. Though there is still a pretty good chance KC can conquer the AFC and Carolina is a definate threat to the RAMs in the NFC.

The Lions and the Cardinals are the two teams with the greatest christmas spirit, I mean they just keep giving and giving and giving, and they never stop.
