I was just watching a cooking show where the host peeled a banana from the butt end. This just mystified me since myself and everyone I know peels a banana from the end with the stem on it. so here's my question, how do you guys peel your bananas?

Well it does come off when you get circumcised, but I don't think we're all talking about the same banana.

I usually dig my thumb nail into the middle and spread it out, kinda the way monkeys open them. Although i rarely eat banana's. I prefer peaches.

And, I'm just wondering: Did anybody read the title and thought it sounded like it had something to do with sex?

When I was a kid, I would try to squeeze an un-peeled banana, like they do in cartoons. I expected the insides to shoot out and I would try to catch it.

Unfortunately, all I got was a big mess.

When I'm feeling fiesty, I do this karate-chop-snapping thing with it that splits the peel and halves the banana. Otherwise I peel it from the top where it's clearly marked, "Peel This End You Stupid Show-Offy Fucknut."

You silly guys are funny...for the record the banana I'm talking about is a yellow fruit that comes in a bunch and goes from green to yellow to yellow with spots as it ripens. I shoulda known that someone would think "penis"...

Hmmm....the closest I come is where I hold the banana by the stem with the curve facing up and then flick the banana down to open it. This technique is used on hard to open bananas which I can't peel by pulling & bending the stem. If the banana resists all attempts to peel it, I break out a knife and slash it open.

I'm reminded of an old David Copperfield magic show I have on tape where he makes a banana disappear. The announcer says "take a bandana, fold it in half", but Mr. Copperfield used a banana instead which led to much hilarity.
