Huge WTF moment: Korn and guns
Ok, I just got back from the friendly neighborhood shooting range, and who was there? None other than Jonathan Davis of Korn. I'm standing right next to him as he's paying for his shit, and my cousin, her boyfriend and me are really fucking shocked.
None of us said anything, since he was with his family, and I'm sure he doesn't want to be bothered while he's packing.
For the curious, he had a Heckler and Koch P7 9mm, and some laser sighted gun I'd never seen before.
abso-fucking incredible.

No. We didn't want to bother him. I doubt he gets recognized much when he goes to a gun range.

Nah...You've got to play it cool when you see a celebrity at a shooting range.
Oh, and this was in Bakersfield.

You should have shot him in the leg and drug him home.

You should have said hey in the same manner in which youd say it to a friend if you were to see them in the same situation. I think it would simultaneously shock and please him to know that while he's recognized, not all of his fans are fan WHORES and that people actually do think of him as a real human being thats no different from the rest instead of some freakish cult worship idol.

but it wasn't. I can't remember the name he called it.
While he was talking with one of the clerks, he mentioned how he's getting a custom made Glock with his band's name on it. Also, when the clerk asked if he used the P7 for defense he said, "No. The 9mm is just for fun. I carry a .45." (BTW, I think he said carry, but he could have just said own. Can't remember exactly)
I guess I should have said hi, like kojikun said. It was weird. I wasn't really star struck, it was just like, "Whoa. Jonathan Davis shoots at my shooting range. Holy shit." Made him seem down to earth, considering he's not some fucknut celebrity who hates guns, but hires private security guards for their safety.
The two that he had were a Heckler and Koch P7 http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg52-r.htmWas his gun a 1911-alike, some other autoloader, or a revolver?

You could have talked about his gun. That's a safe subject that might allow you to bring up the fact that you're a big fan.
And I was only kidding about the freaking out fan part. I'd be too frozen to do anything myself, but woudl want to play it cool if I could move.
