Price of Football Tickets

I was going through some of my crap today and found this from the one and only professional football game I've attended live.
Somehow I don't think the current ticket prices are anything close to this.
Incidently, the Danny White lead Dallas Cowboys pulled this one out in the last 41 seconds of the game. O.J. (Ottis) Anderson was the star for the Cardinals and I think that later in this year the Cowboys lost the NFC Championship game to "the Catch". ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

So you were just waiting to find out if the Cowboys won before deciding to be born?

"The Catch"... one of the worst moments in professional football. And that is a really cheap ticket.

I'm thinking that the face value of the ticket might be kind of low because it was part of someone's season ticket package but since this is the only game I've ever been to I don't have a clue what individual tickets would have cost at the same time.
It's possible that tickets really did go for $12 and maybe the overall price was lower when people got season tickets.
Also, considering the sea of people that arrived to watch that game I never understood why the Cardinals were so jazzed to move to Phoenix, especially since they are only now getting a new stadium. They've been playing in Sun Devil stadium ever since they left St. Louis.

A single ticket of a season ticket package for the jets is greater than $50... For the Jets mind you..

Well, doesn't really matter how much the teams charge, if they have strong hometown support they'll sell a lot. The Leafs (hockey, Toronto) charge extortianate amounts (upwards of $200 for rinkside in the playoffs) and still sell out every game.
