This reminds me of that guy from a few years ago who put himself in tons of historical photos. He always wore a back tracksuit with a beanie.
Does anyone remember that guy?

You are thinking of Waldo, and Waldo had nothing to do with those pictures. Waldo put himself in a pic pretending to have a picture shot of himself seconds before a plane smashed into the WTC. This image was quickly modified and Waldo was soon found around the world at various dates.
FYI, his name isn't Waldo but everyone called him that and played "Wheres Waldo" when they stuck him in different images.
