I've been going crazy thinking about something all day. Two weeks ago, I was introduced to this girl by one of my co-workers. She's outgoing, cute, and funny. We've gone out on one date (no we didn't get it on--unfortunately ) and we've talked on the phone back and forth. Last night, I called her and asked if she had a good time on the date and she said that she had a wonderful time. However, she declined the 2nd date as she is busy with her MBA program and her career at the moment. I got the impression that it wasn't a definite no but it wasn't a yes either. Do you think I should pursue her further or forget about it and look elsewhere? I can't seem to make up my mind on what to do!

Not to be overly negative or anything, but that sounds like a "let him down easy" excuse to me ...

That's what I've been thinking...

Wait. Ask her if she has ANY free time in the near future. If she says no, then it's time for greener pastures...

She could be giving an excuse nto to date you. If that is so, look for someone else. I've gotten many excuses from other women.

You'd be surprised. Trust me, it's better than going to some "Who's Ya Lova?" style-site. You are asking REAL people for the advice, after all.

You guys are more femenine than I am. That's scary. Worrying about complete rejection...My advice is to pursue it for a little bit. If you get your phone number blocked you've gone too far. But seriously, this could still mean something for you...just give it a bit more time.

I'll call her and beg for a date! You're right Dalton, I'll throw out the feelers and see if there's any interest but that will be that. After all, I don't want her to think that I'm stalker!

Go slower than that, ask her to come with you and your friends to some event. Not a date but a get together of a bunch of people, it might act as neutral ground for you two to explore some feelings.

Don't forget to ask HER to bring some friends, too!
