AP Poll
Coaches' Poll

USC comes out on top in the AP Poll, LSU in the Coaches' Poll. It looks like three of the coaches had to be babies and vote for USC rather than LSU as required by the rules they had supposedly agreed to comply with.

And it looks like my boys rank 6th in the Coaches and 7th in the AP. Not too shabby for a rebuilding year...

I generally agree with the AP poll.

Were I a coach, I'd just abstain from that particular poll.

Yay AP poll, finally gave the Terps the credit they deserved. Damn was the Gator Bowl fun to watch and I'll take 17th any day of the week.

I would like to see them ranked higher, but graduation has hit them hard recently. I just hope they're in prime form for my entrance into College Park in the fall (hopefully :P).

I was wondering. Is it part of each coach's contract that they have to vote that way or is it part of the terms of them voting at all?

Or maybe they are required by default if they work in a conference that's part of the BCS.

Novak and Podlesh will still be around so special teams are okay. Statham looks like he could be a pretty good QB and Josh Allen is back so the offense is in good hands. Suter is gona return so that gives us the threat on returns and as a go to receiver (damn was that the prettiest catch I've seen). Defense is gonna be a bit weaker but we shall see.
