Um, I know the answer is no, but can I have my username changed to either John Pham (properly typed in), Pu-239, or CessationofLife

Not on this board. But it has happened on a few other boards I frequent.

AFIAK phpBB's user admin interface (admin_users.php?mode=moduser) can change usernames.
Even if phpBB didn't have direct support for altering usernames, however, given that phpBB is basically little more than an SQL database frontend it should be fairly easy anyone with admin access to the underlying database server to reach into the DB with something like phpmyadmin and alter the username manually.
In short, it can be done.

Then I would want my name changed about every weak. Don't think it would bother Lord Wong if I started bugging him about it?

Mods do not have the power to change names on a phpBB board. However, my powers are greater.

I need final confirmation. Anyone who requests a name change must be aware that it is also their
login name, so they shouldn't be surprised when they type in their old login and password and they don't work.
