Construction to begin on new Star Destroyer

Kuat Drive Yards employees at Dock 716-85 were handed a welcome surprise today when a shipment of framework arrived, touching off construction for a new Imperator-class Star Destroyer. Actual construction has yet to begin, however, due to the fact that the shipment arrived at the end of the workday. "We're all tired from previous work, and there was really nothing to be done, since everything showed up so late," commented one worker. "We'll probably start tomorrow."

The new Star Destroyer is currently lacking a formal designation, as Kuati tradition insists that the dockworkers be given a chance to name their work. Even as workers settled in for the night, the suggestion board was already covered in names. Among were Valentine, Keyblade, Deathguise, Rapier, and Wildcat. Other names are expected to be put up.

More news as construction progresses.

well we already have had two "name the star destroyer" threads.

However since I am in a tolkien mood, we build an SSD out of ships wrecked fighting the Vong and call it "The Flame of the West" since you were using sword names.
