Went out to get groceries just a few minutes ago, and checked
the outside thermometer. Read -10 degrees F, or for you
Canadians: -23 C

Dude, I was playing outdoor ice hockey today in 0°F weather. I spent 2 hours on the ice plus another 10 minutes getting my skates on & off. After playing for about an hour I had my jacket unzipped, it was actually pretty nice out. The thing that really makes it cold is wind, I was in Ottawa once when it dropped to almost -40 with 50mph winds, windchill was well under -60, that was fucking cold.

It was absolutely frigid in Phoenix today. I had to bundle up in a pair of shorts and a T-shirt, it was so cold I left my feet bare, even!

Its been pretty cold in the last few weeks in SF, but not as cold as other areas. About 50-60 degrees in the day and 30-40 at night (Fahrenheit), but its starting to get warmer.. I hope.

It was ~4F the other day here in Buffalo and I was running in and out of my workplace in a tshirt and jeans.
Good way to catch pneumonia.

I envy you guys - here in Brisbane its been 30+C 24 hours a day for weeks. All the pools are piss-warm... we're backward so we don't have hardcore aircon like you guys... and the biggest problem with the heat: you can always put more clothes/blankets/knitted mittens on, but there comes a point where there's nothing more to take off!

I'm soft, I admit it. 19 degree temptatures send me fleeing in unrestricted panic.

Good god! You'd die in Phoenix. 40+ centigrade from May 'til October. And I've seen it as hot as 50 degrees centigrade here.

Poor baby, Shep
We had to deal with -20 weather for five days. It wouldn't get above -5 in the day and it would get to as low as -32 at night. That was right fun too. I love the cold and snow.

I know people that have to put in just as long while working on a mountain. Ah, I feel sorry for those lift opperators on the ski hills. Although the temps took a massive upswing. It was 29 today.

Your getting hammered by the cold system that got us just a few days ago. Your weather should take an upswing in a few days.
FYI, -40C=-40F

After a December of 50-60 degree highs, the temperature if finally dropping to below freezing where I live. I welcome it, but I wish it didn't make the basement so cold.

According to weather.com, it's supposed to be almost 60 F (high temps) here in Atlanta for the next couple days. (looks around at angry cold people and flees)
