Activated...Again

A copy of informaiton I already posted to members of the Mess but I figured I ought to let everyone else know. My unit was reactivated and mobilized back on the 5th (I reported in on the 7th a day ahead of time, stupid NCO's lead the way crap  . Anyway I probably will have worse than limited internet access over the coming weeks and months. Going with that is a high likelyhood that my unit will be overseas and serving in hostile territory so my communication is likely to be worse than sparse. That said I want to thank all of you guys (and gals) for keeping me busy and losing me sleep since I returned from my last activaiton...and wish me luck on this one. Gratsi.

If you get into action don't be an asswipe and cheer after you've shot someone.
Good luck, don't forget to write to us all about the strategies and intelligence reports you see upsidedown.

Well, shit, so you are going out for real....

Good luck, and remember, when in doubt, shoot first. We'd rather
have you back here ALIVE.

May your tour be boring, uneventful, and free of Country Captain Chicken. ;)

Come back alive and well, and Allah will see to it that you sleep with seventy two nubile young women (sorry, can't promise virgins without getting freaky) or at least seventy two times with one extraordinary woman. Can't say when, but it'll happen, don't you worry. :)

Stay safe and good luck.

On a side note - does this double activation screw you finanically or education wise? Some of the Guardsmen/Reservists in California are running into financial trouble because of the activation. ( ie: military pay is not enough ) and some are doing better because they were laid off in civilian life.

Since i actually have 38 or so free hours before returning to duty I figured I'd stop by and thank everyone for their support and hopefully I'll be back for the NEXT set of holidays (since, after all, who wouldn't miss my irresistable charms come Christmastime  ). That said I'm gonna try and stay sem-active while we're still stateside so you might see a bit more of me around.
