Alright. Since I don't know how far the panic spread, I wish it to be known that I am alive, well, at home, and with Tev. Alot of chaotic things happened today, not the least of which being that Tev was so freaked out about being unable to contact me, she got some of our locals involved.

Please tell the Black Helicopters they can go home now.

I won't vent here, but I will say that the misunderstandings are taken care of, and I am somehow flattered that people were worried.

And I want to add my deepest thanks to YB, Ein, IB, and Dalton, for ambushing Nitram as soon as he logged on. Even though he'd already reported in and found out why I was so frantic about finding him, it was reassuring to see how many people were willing to help 'locate' him.

Yea. I didn't show at work, because the mail didn't get my schedule to me. I went job hunting in a neighbouring part of the metro area. Tev calls home. No answer for several hours. Panic ensues. Chaos. Cities fall. Armies mobilized. I am discovered at home, unhurt, just pissed at Target.

Well, that's good to hear.

When you try to reach someone for 4 hours with no answer... you start getting an itsy-bitsy worried. Especially when said someone should have been at work.

And most especially when said someone doesn't normally leave the house for more than 2 hours, if that.

Maybe I should start reading the venting threads from now on...

..or, since this would have gotten me all upset over nothing, maybe not.

this has been a test of the SDN Emergency contact system. If this had been an actual emergency we would have had several of us on the road, headding to WV in order to do a hard patrol.

The scary part is that it's true...

If I were to go missing... no one here whould know as I have no personal contacts here... no one knows my phone number.. ehehehe

And yes, it is rather scary that the above statement is true...
