Hmm. Surprising, the polar bear in ABQ is. I knew they had 'em there, but who knew it could make it to a best of pic set?

Cool, I'd like to know who picked them. Those are some good pics, though.

Swallowed whole rocks.

My second fav is the Labrador in the fence. It looks so cute.

I'm fairly certain that the one fish lives inside the others mouth, eating various unhealthy things that would harm the bigger fish and in return getting the protection of being inside a big fish.

Lots of fish live the first little portion of their lives inside the mouths of their mothers. This is a very common strategy in ocean-going fish, but some freshwater fish also practice the same strategy.

Those are some sweet pics, though. I like "Fury from Above" and the shots of distant galaxies.

Sorry but Pikes eat smaller fish, so that tiniy fish in the mouth is dinner.

The light of the world picture was amazing. It clearly shows the contrast between development and underdevelopment.

But that picture isn't from 2003. I used to have that as my Wallpaper back in 2001. I like "The Gathering Storm", and "Fury From Above".

Who knows. Maybe they just found it. I'll try to find it in the archives of the site I got it from.
