Is there any non-food smell which you enjoy, I personnally like the smell of gasoline (no, I don't huff I don't sniff it intentionally) and freshly cut grass. An apple pie? Nah, gimme a leaky gas station anyday.

And I love the smell of rain. Especially when I'm in the bush.

Ok, so it isn't exactly "exotic" as the thread title suggests, but I love the smell of cut grass too, and that isn't exotic either. So, . All-around. For everything.

Vanilla. for some reason the smell of women that wear vanilla scented perfumes or oils just drives me wild.

As long as it's not obnoxious or noxious I don't mind smells. Don't have any favorites.

I don't have favorites, but I do like that particular smell you smell when you take a newly-bought video/sound/etc card out of its packaging.

Yeah, actually, I loved the smell of my leather wallet when I first bought it, or getting new magic cards, etc.

As for me, I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

The most exotic smell Ive ever encountered has to be landfill condensate.
It is not pleasent though.

On a side note... Has anyone ever learned to recognize a person by scent? No bad BO, but simply spending so much time with a person that you can recognize them by scent of they are wearing a mask or some-such?

I don't think our sense of smell is strong enough for that, but a dog's is, my dog sniffed the air as I drove by in my car and knew it was me. I actually don't think he even cares about bad smells like BO, or even swamp water as they swim in it so much. Sounds nasty doesn't it, if the smell of sewage makes your nauseuous then wouldn't it smelling 20 times as strong knock you out?

Oh probably. Though I would give our sense of smell a bit more credit. We can pick out whether or not a person is genetically compatable by scent.

Solder fumes. It can't be healthy but I rather like the smell of solder fumes when I'm soldering electronics.
