Okay, when considering possible targe…err…I mean possible relationships with the opposite sex (or same sex, depending), is height a factor in your selecting? Do you prefer someone shorter or taller than you are? For some height might not even be an issue. If so, then good for you. Unfortunately, it’s somewhat of an issue with me. Not a big one, mind you, but a deciding factor. It’s mostly because of my own height (I’m 5’5”, 5’6” on a good day). It’s not really a thing that I’m really insecure about. It’s an ego thing, I admit. I don’t mind a girl who is an inch or two taller than me. My ego isn’t that fragile. I just can’t see myself with someone who is a complete head taller. Maybe when I grow a little older and wiser my view will change. But for now I prefer someone who is my height, maybe a little shorter (damn this industrial sized ego of mine! ).

So, does size matter truly matter?

As long as it's not to an absurd degree, no.

I like my women either very short or amazon tall to match up with me.

I guess I would prefer someone taller, then again, its hard to find someone shorter, I'm only 5'3".

I prefer a woman a few inches shorter than me (I'd say 5'2" at least, and 6'0" at most). Of course, if they're butt-ugly, then it doesn't matter what their height is.

But what if they have a nice personality?

I actually prefer a shorter guy, even being 6'0.5".. By shorter I mean at least two or three inches shorter. Don't know why.. Just like shorter guys. -shrugs- Same for the occasional female.

i prefer women around my height. it makes kissing easier as it's awkward to reach up or down odd lengths. not that i wouldn't go out with a taller woman or a shorter woman, just that it'd be odd for kissing.

It doesn't matter much at all. It might be strange if she's taller than me, but that's not very common.

My wife is perhaps 1/2" to 1" taller than me. If the height difference was really large, I could see it being a problem, but not if it's reasonably small.

I'm 6'6", I can take really short but I would prefer my partner to be within, say, 6 inches of me.

So long as she's hot, it doesn't it matter.

It doesn't really bother me. If she were taller than me it might be a bit weird, but i'm around 6'4", so it's not a problem I come up against all that often.

I'm 5'11" (I think) and I prefer girls that are a couple inches shorter than me. It makes some things easier that she's not to short and avoids some other problems when she is to tall there are other problems. Two to four inches shorter is the best I think.

I'm 6'4," and I never dated a girl over like 5'6." I just never went after the taller girls (that and my preference for Asian chicks hehe).

Same case with me and Inge. She's a little bit taller than me.

I prefer about 5'6" to about 5'11". This is not to say I'd reject anyone based on height (within reason of course).

Taller is fun.

No midgets, no giants. That is all.

I've dated all sizes...only problems I've ever had is when they're below 5'. Other then that...nope.

Personally, all else being equal, I would prefer a tall woman. But such a difference would be purely bonus in my eyes.

It doesn't matter much, in the long run. I'd much rather be with a sweet, gentle and intelligent 5'0" than a dickish 6'2".

However, I do feel rather funny. One guy I dated in high school was near my height -- I think he was only 5'7" and I'm at 5'4". Even though he was technically tall than me, it didn't seem to be enough. I should've dumped him then. Silly girl I was.

Anyway, my SO is about 6'1" and it comforts me greatly. I like to be at upper chest level.

Personally, I'm not all too picky about height. Same height as me would be quite rare(6 '2), but even fairly short women relative to me don't bother me. If they have a pretty smile, they have my attention.


Does variable height count? Like when she's on her knees?
