So why did you decide to join this message board?

I'm not sure of my own reasons myself, it's not the friendliest board on the 'net (unless you're a hardcore "warsie") but I guess I like debating stuff.

I joined for lack of anything better to do.

I'm here because frankly I would feel stupid if I wasn't one of the first posters on this board, having used Mikes page as reference for so long.

1. To voice what I think
2. To make myself look like an idiot

I spam therefore I am. Of course, I had to find a place to spam if you listen to crazy9000.

I joined because I want to assist MW in his fight against rabid trekkies, creationist, commies, and other stupid people that populate the internet.

I don't like circus folk either. Fortunately I haven't seen any of them in here just yet.

I like the website, so it follows that I would join the message board attached to it.

I joined at first because I was home with an injury, and bored out of my skull. (real men want to work at real jobs, as we are what we do.)

Disreguard my pronunciation, when I heared this on the radio talk show 2-3 years ago this is what I remembered the author as claiming the correct pronunciation to be.

I joined because at too many other boards, when you say you like SW, people look down at you like you were watching some kiddie show. I get tired of the ST and B5 snobs who think those shows are deeper somehow and that SW is just FX. here i figure most poeple are SW fans and I won't get yelled at.

Also other boards are overcrowded with annoying people.


A fresh, new start.

I joined to watch Wong lay the Imperial smackdown on idiots. And by idiots I do NOT mean Trekkies in particular. Trying to keep an open mind and all, even with the packs of idiots out there.

Because its a new board; new people, new debates (or at least new opinion). I'm a somewhat regular at spacebattles.com (no I'm not a trekkie) and half the debates either turn into crap (repetitive dogma, characte shield, etc). Here, so far, it's actually been real debates and interesting conversation.

I joined 'cause I'm a long-time lurker of this site and the SWvsST topic in general. I thought this board was the right place to finally de-cloak and show my presence.

I joined because Mike put my views on Poll #2 on the website. It gave me a warm and tingly feeling inside that I decided that I rather liked.

Besides. It gave me an excuse to come to this site a lot.

Why? That's simple:

Ale and whores.
