I found stardestroyer.net one day when I typed "economy of Star Trek" or something similar into google. It gave me a link to one of Mike's essay's on the Federation being Communist. I liked it alot so I checked out the rest of the site. I would come visit every other week or so looking for an update, until the boards were created. Now its an everyday thing.
How did you find this place?

I went here to see if you were as unpleasant as the people I usually talk to on the web say you are. 'Nuff said.

I found it ages ago, probably not long after it just went up, as I recall. I was always on the lookout for interesting fan sites. I actually remember sending an email to Mike, to which he responded rather fast and extremely politely. Good first impression from him, actually. I should have kept it up, since men of good minds are few, but I couldn't think of anything else to say, and correspondence isn't my thing.

I found a link to SWTC on rec.arts.sf.science concerning the Endor Holocaust. From there I got to stardestroyer.

I was a frequenter of talk.origins and some other groups about the subject and heard about a new anti-Creationism site that had been put up at SD.net. This was long before the Creationism pages were split off into their own thing, so I got to see the rest of the site as well. Got hooked on Conquest, so stayed around.

Link from SB.com. Never really payed to much attention to SD.net untill someone told me I made it on Wong's hatemail page. From then on I visited every so often for the updates. Found the creationism page and loved it. Saw the creation of the boards and lurked untill I finally decided to join.

Well, one day while I was in the usuall AoL chat room at the time, a member of my rpg group was giving me links to sites. We had a lot of Trekkie in the rpg too, and they were apt to spew bullshit about anything so as to seem 'great'. (pathetic). The link was to Mr. Poe's Ultimate Star Wars vs Star Trek site. From there, I kept seeing references to a 'Mike Wong' and Stardestroyer.net. Well, there ya go, found it on his links page. Worse than that, I kept up with both sites on a daily basis, and kept seeing something Mr. Wong referred to as Spacebattles.com. So, I went there in December, tried to gouge my eyes out until this forum was created.

Well, I was just jackassing around 'net one day, when I wondered, "who was stronger?" Using google, I found numerous sites on the subject, but none that came up with a satisfying answer. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon SD.net and went, "hey, this makes a lot of sense." So I bookmarked it.

Wow, something his wankfest is good for something. At least we have proof that it's not totally without redemption.
