I did check the hall of shame on this, but could someone briefly summarize all his crimes(maybe one paragraph)?

there is quite a bit round the place about him.... plagerism is apprently a crime of his , although i never saw it, being an allie of the TK trolls os somesuch group also... and being a bit of a flaming idiot at times...

I never found out either. It seems to be rather hush-hush.

I can never recall him being much of an arse around, mind you, I don't really remember his last posts and never noticed him gone.

He's at TK as The Question, and he's busily bashing all of us. He was doing this before his banning. He was a two faced liar attempting to play both ends against the middle, and doing so badly.

He never struck me as a troll until the very end when I saw the last posts, but I have no diea what set him off. I suppose it's all for the best that it didn;t become a major public fiasco.

Much of it was asked whether or not would he stop associating with TK.

He said No and went rampaging...thus the current situation.

He demonstrated that he is an attention whore who desperately needs to have some kind of soap-opera swirling around himself in order to feel important. He also has some kind of pathological need for approval, which explains why he couldn't leave TK despite being their favourite whipping boy, and for that matter, it's probably why he tried so hard to curry favour here until he realized that he was just another face in the crowd. While we didn't actively dislike him, the board did not revolve around him either. People did not angrily leap to his defense if he was slighted. This bothered him, and that's why he stirred up shit and then tried to play innocent, etc.

Why do you think he's so active (and probably happy) at TK right now? They're giving him exactly what he craves: he whines about how mean we are to him, and they rally around him saying "Oh yeah? Well sit tight here bro, I'll go teach those assholes a lesson for ya!" Then he gets to put on his best Southern Belle imitation and "thank y'all, I've grown tuh duh-pend awn the kindness uh strangers!" He bats his eyelashes at them and they swoon, more determined than ever to strike a blow on his behalf. He's probably curled up in front of his computer, smiling contentedly and saying "they love me! They really love me!"

He made it very clear that he is a walking, talking vortex of whiny, cringing emotional need, desperate for both approval and a sense of significance. If the kiddies at TK are giving it to him, then may both he and them bask in the glory of each others' whininess forever. If not, then he will eventually wear out his welcome there too. Either way, I couldn't care less; I just didn't want to deal with his bullshit any more around here.

Sure, it would have been nice if he turned out to be something other than a neurotic with a pathological craving for approval and validation, and I think we gave him more than enough chances. But he is what he is.

Yes, we did. It just saddens me that I thought he was cool right up until the end. I don't like it when I allow people to trick me like that.

People are sneaky little backstabbers. You get used to it after a while. Not that used to it, of course, but it becomes expected.

The way he was writing his fanfics -- all but outright copying other people's work and then vigorously denying it -- was starting to get on my nerves, all right.

Yeah, well, for that, Ms. Antilles still holds the #1 position as far as I'm concerned. But Raoul is a fairly close second.

I am suddenly reminded of the time he once PMed me concerning his House of the Scorpion thing. He wanted me to read it and give him some feedback.

I didn't really think about it at the time, other than that it seemed an odd thing to request with a PM, but now I'm realising why...

I didn't realize he got banned. LOL!!! Man, I bet that would piss him off to know he went unnoticed. LOL!!! I thought he had turned himself around, but apparently not. Well good ridance.

Yes. It's a stupid story involving people impersonating others.

It's funny, though. He even had me going for a while. I thought he was halfway interesting in his writing style, but then, I didn't know I was merely reading someone else's witticism expressed through him. He got mentally consigned to oblivion when the plagiarism became really evident.

I don't think this is thread necro, but so this means there is no one who has been VIed who hasn't really recovered (permanently)?
