Dear lord, today has to have been the greatest day of college football in years. Any college football fans on this forum? What do y'all think about today?

Wow, I didn't pay any attention! The KSU Golden Flashes have fallen on rather hard times. I watch the Browns and Bills more than any college.

And it looks like LSU is going to beat Florida; I'm terrified of having to play this team in the SEC championship, which looks to be a strong possibility now.

And dear LORD, they just scored again.

Ick, pro sports suck. Well, most of them.

Yeah, pro football bores the hell out of me. College football is soooo much more entertaining.

Hehe. You wouldn't say that if you saw my dorm on a Sunday. We're a mix of Bills, Browns, and Steelers fans, all thrown together in a tight hallway like a powder keg. Rivals start yelling at each other everytime there's a score, and by the end of the games, it's near pandemonium. I think we're gonig to give our RA a heart attack sooner or later.

With the exception of hockey, I can't stand watching pro sports.

The ego and money have driven me away. I can't see the sense in paying those jackasses to play a game many would play for free. And the rampant crime and thuggery in pro sports sickens me. Until pro sports clean up their act I can't stand watching them.

College sports in general are more entertaining. It's not a bunch of over-paid jocks being lackadazical about playing a sport. It's there to have FUN!

Speaking of pro hockey, we just happened to be in Raleigh Friday and decided to go see the Hurricanes. Got tickets in nosebleed, but you could see the entire rink. They were down 3-0 after the first period. All of a sudden, they scored 3 in quick succession, and then scored two more in the third! Made up for the really horrible week we had plus the really bad afternoon.

I remember watching the canes play the Red Wings. Damn good series. They put up a hell of a fight. We won of course but it was a sweet series.

Not bad for a 5 year old team, huh? North Carolina, a place that never even heard of hockey until the Hartford Whalers decided to move away from home.

I live in Tobacco-ville. Down here, basketball is our love.

Cal lost again. On a lighter note the Ducks won which I'm happy about. So I remain at equilibrium.

Not bad for any team. We had a good team and a good coach last year. I'm a little worried about them this year but I think they'll do ok. Maybe not another Cup be we'll see.

And Pro Basketball or College?

I just took a look at NCSU's schedule. I hope you all tear FSU a new one, I want to see the BCS darlings (FSU and Nebraska) destroyed once and for all this season!

The Sabers won their last game 5 to 1. Buffalo went crazy.

We've beaten FSU recently, plus it's the last game of the season at home. (ALL home games are sold out. They sold 3.500 season tickets!) We have a chance. But we have to get through the rest of the ACC first. We've only played 2 out of 8 conference games so far this season.

I'm hoping for either the Peach Bowl or the Gator Bowl. We can get to either of those rather easily. I've never been to a Bowl game. That would be so cool.
